Here's what I've been working on most recently, all stuff that is needed to make MeTal something I can deliver to end users:
- Theme management, so that themes can be saved, loaded, imported, etc. without all sorts of backend jiggery-pokery.
- Final tests on the installer in an environment that uses MySQL rather than SQLite. This is a tough one and I don't expect it to work the first time, or for a while.
- Many things that don't need to be in a first end-user test version are getting stubbed, like the plugin manager.
I'm going to very conservatively say that I should be able to set up test installations for the first few stalwart brave folk as of the end of Q1 2016. Underpromise and overdeliver, that's me.
